Role: Children's Service Coordinator 

Location: Gloucestershire  

Contract/Hours: Permanent, full-time (working 37 hours a week)

Salary: up to £37,300 dependent on experience and qualifications.

A bit about the role: 

Rowan Tree House is a forever home in a beautiful setting in Gloucestershire, the home is for a young person with complex needs.  Rowan Tree House will provide the young person who lives there with a home for life. Giving the young person stability, consistency, and appropriate, care, and support, while supporting them to integrate into the community as much as possible and achieve supported independence as they transition into adulthood. 

As Service Coordinator You will provide support to the Registered Manager to help launch and run a newly established team, in a brand-new forever home in Gloucestershire. This Role would suit someone with Previous experience as a deputy Manager.

  • Manage and lead a team of professional social care staff. 
  • Maybe required to step up as deputy to the Registered Manager
  • Create a strong and high achieving team.   
  • Liaise with our key Stakeholders within and outside Action for Children. 
  • Support the Registered Manager in data collection and analysis. 

Let's talk about you. 

Our job description at the bottom of the advert outlines the requirements of the role but the ‘must-haves' are:   

  • Passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives.
  • Possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or recognised equivalent) is essential and you must be willing to do your level 5 Diploma
  • Previously worked as Deputy Manager/ Service coordinator preferred but not essential 
  • Experience of supervising and supporting a staff team 
  • To hold a qualification relevant to the work or extensive experience and ongoing professional development. 
  • Knowledge and experience of quality assurance approach to children's services. 
  • Experience of analysing data and management information to support continual service improvement and development.
