Senior Loyalty & Marketing Officer (5023)

The role

We are looking for a Senior Loyalty & Marketing Officers to lead Actions for Children's digital channel fundraising and engagement activity. You will work with teams across FCP to create communications plans that deliver a quick and effective step change to our digital comms activity as we pivot towards a digital first fundraising strategy. Lead in the design and creation of a campaign results dashboard that captures campaign performance across all digital engagement activity, analysing the results and ensuring insight and best practice is shared and understood and that learnings are embedded with our way of working.



You will make a difference by:

-Ensuring the timely and effective delivery of fundraising and stewardship emails across FCP to an agreed schedule.  Hit agreed targets for campaigns across all departments driving increased income, engagement, awareness and loyalty.

-Ensuring emails are sent out to agreed schedules, in line with the overarching supporter engagement plan as well as the fundraising and communication strategies

-Leading on the creation of fundraising strategies that result directly in significant growth in fundraising email appeal income.

-Improving supporter loyalty and engagement through the creation, and refinement of tailored and bespoke email journeys.

-Designing and delivering integrated, automated cross selling that fully embeds our multi product strategy within our supporter engagement communications.

-Proactively engage in the development of supporter journeys, using personal knowledge of best practice, results at Action for Children and other qualitative data to ensure enhanced supporter stewardship.

-Supporting in the Supporter Journey Management workshops, bringing expert knowledge into the room and ensuring it is used in deciding the optimal communications plan for those supporters.

-Ensuring qualitive data such as SPQs and supporter insight is actively influencing supporter asks, content and journeys.

-Collating and ensuring campaign performance data is used in a tactical manner to drive performance as well as feeding into strategic modelling.

-Providing oversight and assisting in the development of the supporter thanking and recognition project.

-Leading on the management of our Email engagement tool, ensuring its resources are fully utilised by the organisation.

-Ensuring that the platform is completely up to date with technological advances and ways of giving, eg introducing apple and google pay as payment methods.

-Supporting in the delivery of other digital fundraising and engagement campaigns to existing supporters as required, such as SMS and RGSMS campaign,

 

You will need:

-Degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred

-Statistical qualifications an advantage but not essential

-Must have experiences of using advanced statistical and analytical techniques in commercial and marketing environment.

-Must have experience of working with large and complex budgets and a proven record of being able to drive improvements in performance against targets.

-Must have an extensive knowledge of all relevant data protection legislation and industry regulations.

-Experience of managing relationships with external suppliers.

-Experience of project management, including delivering to timescales and budgets

-Excellent verbal and written skills that can present complex data clearly and effectively to a range of audiences.

.-Excellent IT skills, including using Content Management Systems, CRM systems, email marketing systems, social media tools, HTML and web analytics.
