Loyalty Marketing Officer (5022)

Circa £26,000 per annum

2 x Full-Time (working 35 hours a week) on a fixed term contract for 12 months – generally Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

The role

We are looking for Loyalty & Marketing Officers to Work collaboratively across teams in FCP to develop sustainable income through delivery of fundraising campaigns and digital communications. You will need to achieve income targets and increase the retention and engagement of the overall donor

The role offered on a full-time fixed term contract for 12 months and will be based in Watford but with the option for some homeworking by negotiation with the Manager



You will make a difference by:

-Assisting and delivering the agreed digital fundraising strategy by effectively project managing, developing and improving activities as agreed with line management.

-Delivering agreed target KPIs to maximise the potential income from existing digital activities and projects.

-Producing structured digital activity plans in line with the overarching supporter engagement plan as well fundraising and communication strategies. Ensure regular and consistent campaign performance reports are complete to capture key learnings to improve future campaigns. Highlight further opportunities for income growth.

-Demonstrating the charities work, transparency and accountability to donors, supporters and volunteers through email and SMS marketing. Ensure that these audiences' contribution is recognised, valued and actively acknowledged.

-Keeping up to date with sector developments and share best practice amongst fundraising teams, identifying opportunities for new activities.

-Undertaking market research to identify and implement specific opportunities that aid the development of fundraising strategies agreed with line management.

-Collaboratively working as a member of the Supporter Experience team and FCP by attending and contributing to meetings and communicating effectively with relevant teams to support our digital channel fundraising and engagement activity.


You will need:

- Degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

-Excellent understanding of, and empathy with, the motivations of current and potential donors, supporters, and volunteers.

-Ability to produce engaging and successful digital marketing communications, gained through a working knowledge and experience of digital marketing techniques.

-Ability to project manage multiple activities concurrently and successfully, to target, deadline and to report on agreed KPIs. Ability to apply inter-personal and presentation skills to explain complex proposition in a compelling way in both writing and in person.

-Demonstrable numeracy and organisational skills, including use of project management methodology to deliver activities associated with the fundraising programme.

-Ability to use data analysis and assist in making recommendations to switch spend/activity to meet both short term and long-term goals.

-To develop knowledge of charity legislation, best practice guidelines and other regulatory requirements to charitable fundraising activity.
