Our Place is our new, OFSTED registered, 4-bedded residential unit for children and young people aged 8 to 19 with physical and learning disabilities. This will be their permanent home.
As an Assistant Residential Worker, you'll help our team provide a safe and caring environment, supporting the children with household tasks and all aspects of their care. You will make a difference by:- Ensuring the safeguarding polices and procedures are in place across the service.- Completing household tasks. - Completing Health and safety tasks.- Carrying out personal care and maintaining personal hygiene. - Promoting independence and also providing a fun and stimulating environment for the Children.You will need:
-A Diploma Level 3 is desirable although not essential but you must be willing to work towards this if you don't already have this. - Excellent communication skills. - Self-motivated. - The ability to work as part of a team.- A positive and proactive approach to work.- Excellent communication skills.
