The Role:

You will be accountable for the provision of logistical and specialised documentation that supports the end-to-end process of the workload that passes through the Bid team, with an overall view of enabling the successful win of high value bids. You will ensure that the written bid submission is accurate, well presented and timely. You will also provide general administration support to the BD England team.

You will make a difference by:

- By analysing and preparing responses to Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire and Expressions of Interest submissions that contribute to a successful tender submission and eventual win.

- By collating and articulating bid information in order to ensure succinct responses and compliance linked to securing new business income.

- By obtaining information from commissioners, internal services, and key stakeholders to proactively review to utilise through an enhanced application and presentation, in order that a compliant and winning bid is submitted within pre-determined deadlines.

- By Identifying tasks with a clear brief and timeline for completion to specialist and operational management to enable submission of a compliant and successful tender.

- By ensuring bid submission compliance through the formatting and collating of key and other supporting documents to a high standard.

- By maintaining regular communication and protocols both verbal and in writing and utilising other established office systems, to ensure that the tendering team are aware of all developments, in line with the bid process.

What are we looking for from you? 

- Good level of education including GCSE's and A Levels; Degree level would be welcome but not essential.

- Experience of working to deadlines and working with complex data to identify priorities and to create a compelling narrative.

- Ideally some experience of bid work; transferable experience will also be acceptable.

- Experience of children's social care.

- High level of IT skills including ability to use graphic design programmes to support bid production.

- High level written skills, the ability to translate and structure complex information in a simple, straightforward, and logical way.

- Ability to gather and manage intelligence to complete PQQ/SQ's.

- Undertake or organise desk research to inform the development of a winning bid.
